Sam Miltich is a self-taught jazz guitarist born and raised in the woods of northern Minnesota. Sam burst on to the hot club jazz scene in his teens, joining Paul Mehling's Hot Club of San Francisco and touring internationally with the world-renowned Robin Nolan Trio.  Sam's fluid and instinctive sound has graced hundreds of stages, from small towns on the Iron Range to New York's Lincoln Center. In addition to hot club swing and traditional jazz Sam's musical interests include Brazilian choro, French musette, Eastern European tamburitza, and other forms of traditional folk music. As a solo performer, Sam accompanies his own lush melodies with a driving bass lines and syncopated comping.  The result is  a multi-layered tapestry of sound that one finds hard to believe coming from a single instrument.

"Sam is a musical genius, and he's been playing brilliant music for a long time."

- Lowell Pickett, Dakota Jazz Club Owner
